India in Bloom
In celebration of her Indian heritage, my friend Radhika and I set out to create floral inspired ideas for an Indian wedding. The looks featured a fashion forward, whimsical aesthetic using Indian antiques, playful flowers and a muted, yet rich color palette. Design highlights included three fresh floral nose rings and intricate white “henna” on the legs of our bride. Shot against vintage Indian block print fabric and a hand-painted backdrop designed with Radhika’s grandparents' farm in mind.
